Tired of just doing preventative maintenance or working only on engines? Are you ready to take the next step and work on equipment that requires a high level of skill � hydraulics, electrical, diagnostics � learning modern maintenance practices and technologies on our growing fleet of CNG trucks?
As a 310T Technician at WM, you will inspect, diagnose and repair WM vehicles and equipment, while working in our state of the art facility. We own our Fleet and are proud of it � we like to keep as much work in-house as possible! So, you won�t just be responsible for oil changes and tire rotations � you will be exposed to preventive maintenance services, inspections, electrical repairs, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on our growing fleet of CNG trucks.
The Day-To-Day�
Our shop in Ottawa is looking for a licenced Mechanic on the evening shift. You will be working in a small team, minimal supervision, so it will be important that you are motivated and task-oriented.
Safety is huge at WM and it�s important to us that you go home to your loved ones each day. We train all employees on safe work practices, supply everything necessary to ensure safe work environments and ensure our safety culture is embraced by all employees.
You will have the opportunity to utilize our vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs, estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts.
We also offer (and encourage you to take advantage of!) state-of-the-art training for all Technicians. This is online OEM Certified training for Cummins, Freightliner, Mack and Alison transmissions. You�re not going to get this training anywhere else!

What It Takes...
You will need to be a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician (with the Ontario College of Trades rules!) and some work experience. You will also need your own tools for this job, but don�t worry � our shop has tons of space for your big toolbox!
