Job description
Position: Machinist - CNC Operator
Duration: Full time
Starting date: Immediate opening
Responsibilities:
- Operation of manual lathe and manual milling machine
- Measurement and inspection of finished parts
- Maintenance of tools and cutters
- Fabrication of components for machining fixtures
- Set-up and removal of finished pieces from CNC milling machines
- Operation of CNC milling machines
Experience, qualification and skills:
- Minimum three year experience in a production shop
- High school diploma
- Minimum one year completed in the college program of either
a) Machine Shop course or
b) Mechanical Technologist course
- Good dexterity with hand tools
- Ability to follow complex instructions for CNC machining of parts with long cycle time
Salary: $18 - $24 per hour
