JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Tanker Driver, You Will:
• Ensure timely deliveries
• Receive and relay information from/to the Dispatch Supervisor daily
• Oversee and maintain cleanliness and condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, etc. as per Miller standards and MTO regulations (Daily Vehicle Inspections)
• HOS compliance mandatory
• Manage daily Drivers Log- ELD (Electronic Logbook training will be provided)
• Other duties as required
What You’ll Bring:
• Valid Driver's License, Class A with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
• Liquid handling experience an asset
• Minimum 5 years tractor trailer driving experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Some computer skills required (ELD Tablet)
• Must be able to lift 45 kg (100 lbs.) and pull 100 feet of hose
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Punctual, reliable, and productive
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Must be willing to work flexible hours
• Must be able to work overnight/out of town (Bunk trucks or hotels provided)
• Must be comfortable working at heights
