Job Description
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Perform minor repairs on appliances
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as elevators, hallways, gyms and general rooms
- Work with minimal supervision
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- May help to ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
- May help to perform safety and security checks
- Help to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
Requirements
- Education: Not required
- Experience: Experience is an asset

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, 40 Hours per week
Benefits: Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Also, transportation from one work location to another will be provided.
Important information:
-This position will require working Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 60 minutes of unpaid lunch and two 15-minute unpaid breaks
-The worker will rotate in different construction/building sites throughout London, Ottawa, Amherstview and Kingston.
