EMPLOYEUR: Cash for Trash


Position Overview:

Cash for Trash is a growing business looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at the recycling centre in Stittsville. The incumbent will work closely with our Accountant to provide support with bookkeeping, record keeping, certain aspects of Human Resources and payroll.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the QBO account for various companies
  • Classifying transactions accurately
  • Entering bills
  • Applying payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Balancing cash
  • Journal entries
  • HST return preparation
  • Processing payroll
  • General filing and administrative tasks
  • Applying payments in industry specific software

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in bookkeeping
  • Accounting Diploma / Degree
  • 5+ years with QuickBooks online
  • Excellent English communication & presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent knowledge of G-Suite applications
  • Industry experience considered an asset Bilingualism considered an asset
