JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of our housekeeping staff is to clean the room to ensure that there is NO evidence of any previous occupants and to report any issues to the front desk in order to keep the room fully functional for the next guest.
We are a family owned, long standing motel located in Bells Corners. We are looking for a housekeeper to join our small team. The position requires that the person cleans rooms which will involve: changing bed linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms (toilets, bathtubs and shower stalls), washing walls and floors when necessary, dusting countertops/furniture, defrosting small fridges, cleaning microwaves and any other cleaning tasks as assigned.
The motel operates 7 days a week and we require the individual to be available at least every second weekend (there is a premium of an extra $3/hr). The hrs of work are usually between 10:00 am to 3:00 or 4:00 pm. If the person is looking for more hrs, they can help with laundry or do any extra cleaning tasks. The motel has 2 storeys and no elevator.
