JOB DESCRIPTION:
Teaches classes and maintains pottery studio by performing the following duties.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares course outlines or lesson plans; teaches classes and workshops to children or adults in pottery (hand-building).
- Tracks and maintains supplies inventory.
- Performs administrative tasks - answers questions about classes; provides information to the public; maintains standard records; takes attendance.
Typical Qualifications
Education
Applicants with relevant pottery experience or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics college degree.
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant pottery experience is required. Teaching experience is an asset.
