JOB DESCRIPTION:
Free Personal Support Worker (PSW) Training Program starting April 19, 2021
Qualicare has partnered with Crossroads Academy and levels of government to offer an opportunity to those who want to gain a rewarding career in the healthcare industry as a Personal Support Worker (PSW).
Our PSW training is offered in Ottawa to Ontario residents only who are either Canadian Citizens or permanent residents and are unemployed or receiving Employment Insurance benefits or benefits from Ontario Works .
Training is full-time, Monday to Friday, for a period of 4.5 months. Note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the course may be taught online with a possibility of extension (Practical’s and Practical exams).
Once you have graduated successfully, you will obtain a Personal Support Worker's diploma and will have entered into a 24 month employment contract with Qualicare (position availability based on client requirements at the time of course completion).
