Employer: MR Kitchens – A custom kitchen cabinet manufacturer with 3 showrooms in the Ottawa region in business since 1986. Shop is located in Vars - 15 minutes east of Ottawa - 20 minutes south of Orleans.
Job Description:
Assisting with various stages of the production of custom cabinet millwork
Maintaining & cleaning work area
Inspecting finished work to ensure it's quality & accuracy
Flagging product quality concern issues with team lead so they can be properly addressed
Moving, loading & delivering cabinetry to client's homes
Qualities Needed:
High attention to detail & accuracy with a tape measure
Takes ownership & pride in quality of finished product
Team player -going above and beyond to help your teammates and assist where requested
Proactive and thinks outside the box to find a way to accomplish what is required
Always seeks ways to personally improve their efficiency and quality of work
Thinks outside the box – enjoys a challenge, problem solves
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to thrive under pressure, prioritize & re-evaluate priorities on the go
Able to lift objects up to 50lbs
Fluent in English or French
Valid driver's licence & vehicle to get to work - no bus service
Useful Knowledge & Expertise:
Kitchen cabinetry or carpentry background
