JOB DESCRIPTION:


High Tech Genesis is looking for a Team Lead who will look after distribution and completion of incidents, problems, and requests for the IT teams. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise an enterprise, bilingual support team
  • Provide coaching, guidance and mentoring to the team
  • Queue management, reporting, and generation of support metrics
  • Developing and maintaining and documenting standard support procedures to ensure the support, availability, and continuity of IT services
  • Being the coordinator for purchasing and tracking, maintenance, and renewals of all software license
  • You will take the lead project managing small initiatives that your group will be responsible for
  • You are the lead for the Incident Manager role related to all critical North America incidents

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop or application support environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager in an enterprise service desk environment
  • 2 years of experience managing a service desk ticketing system, incident management and tracking
  • ITIL certification an asset
  • Ability to lead a team and assigning tasks to team members and monitoring progress to meet specific deadlines
  • Experience in root cause analysis
  • You have a proven track record, multitask, and think strategically and come up the create solutions
  • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call responsibilities periodically
  • Must be fluently bilingual (English/French) in both written and oral communication
  • University or College Degree, or certification in Information Technology
