JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
We are currently looking for BAS technicians to join our growing Ottawa BAS Service Team. The individual would be working with our service/project team and would report directly to the BAS Service Manager
Responsibilities
- Perform point to point verifications of building automation systems
- Write detail service reports
- Provide recommendations for improvements
- Assist in delivering BAS solutions to our customer base within the Construction/Operation/Service Department.
- Troubleshooting of BAS, HVAC Equipment and Lighting controls systems and their peripheral devices
- Update site documentation.
- Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ainsworth Safe Work and H&S Policies.
- Show an understanding of HVAC and DDC fundamentals, as well as Schneider Electric, (Trane, Siemens, Automated Logic or other BACnet) BAS product portfolio and end devices.
- Complete Schneider Electric product-specific training prior to factory training.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of BAS Networking and System Integration.
