High Tech Genesis is looking for a Forecasting Manager who will manage our global logistics processes and provide leadership and development.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and enhances systems, methods, and procedures to identify and improve operating efficiency, cost and inventory reductions while maintain and improving on-time-delivery to our customers.
- Develops demand plans for our suppliers.
- Analyzes sources of demand to ensure sufficient supply is available.
- Interfaces with Sales at all levels when challenging and investigating validity of demand profiles and reviews and defends content.
- Manages global logistics capabilities for all shipments from suppliers globally to MN distribution and order fulfillment facilities around the world.
- Negotiates and manages costs associated with global logistics carriers
- Responsible for developing methods and practices associated with the introduction of new products.
Required skills and experience:
- 3-5 years with Forecasting Management experience
- MS Office
- SAP or similar ERP system
- Familiar with Kinaxis or other planning-based system
- Able to provide clear, concise presentations, and produce accurate documentation and reports
Desired skills:
- Experience with DVR’s, IP video or other CCTV related solutions
- Experience working in Hi-Tech
