JOB DESCRIPTION:
High Tech Genesis is looking for a Cloud Security Lead Engineer to head a team of Cloud Security Engineers providing Cloud Security infrastructure support to their product engineering teams.
This person will lead with expertise in:
- Setting up securing and managing Public Cloud environments (especially azure but with other public cloud as well)
- Configuring cloud services to harden them
- Monitoring cloud environment for security attacks and vulnerabilities
- Trouble shooting security related cloud access issues
- Mentoring team members as needed
- Responding to security related queries and tickets raised by the engineering team
Required skills and experience:
- 5+years experience working in a Cyber Security Role
- Solid proficiency in Azure is a must have (with understanding with cloud-native)
- Good understanding of security Tools like PRISMA, Tenable, Splunk etc.
- Some automation experience writing scripts in Bash or Python
- Exposure and understanding of Git
- Exposure and understanding with Jenkins
- Overall good understanding and working experience in the cybersecurity domain and Cloud Security:
- Architecture, Design
- Threat Detection and Hunting
- Vulnerability Management
- Patch Management
- Incident Management & Response
- Identity and Access Management
- Encryption
- Kubernetes security
- Container security
