JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing FPGA-based solutions for our diverse range of products. Your expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), High-Speed Designs, and RF SOC (System on Chip) will be instrumental in delivering high-performance and reliable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and optimize them for real-time processing
- Develop high-speed designs to meet the demanding requirements of our products
- Integrate FPGA components with RF SOC designs for seamless functionality
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions into the overall system
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs to ensure reliability and functionality
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in FPGA technology, DSP, and High-Speed Designs
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA design and development
- Ability to obtain Enhanced Reliability Security clearance is a must
- Strong knowledge and experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in High-Speed Designs and board-level integration
- In-depth understanding of RF SOC designs and their integration with FPGA solutions
- Solid experience with FPGA development tools and languages, such as VHDL or Verilog
- Familiarity with simulation and verification tools for FPGA designs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Desired skills:
- Experience in developing FPGA solutions for wireless communication systems is a plus
- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software co-design is desirable
- Previous experience in working with high-performance computing applications is an advantage
