The FRESHBURG CORP is a European chain of budget-friendly grocery stores. Our stores can be found in Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, Spain. And our American and Canadian branches are on the way!

Responsibilities

Procurement Manager / Purchasing Manager duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the supply chain, including communication with suppliers, seeking out new partnerships, and negotiating with third-party vendors in accordance with FRESHBURG CORP pricing requirements.
  • Procuring merchandise specific to designated product brackets.
  • Establishing product range policies within assigned product brackets, including conducting analyses of product matrix structures and introducing or discontinuing items for retail.
  • Evaluating offers from third-party vendors and suppliers.
  • Planning and analyzing the development of various product categories.
  • Conducting market analyses of competitors within product groups and striving to meet sales targets.
  • Ensuring the attainment of both sales and financial targets.
  • Maintaining category-specific reporting.
  • Overseeing logistics processes to ensure efficient delivery to stores.
  • Supervising sales transactions between FRESHBURG CORP and its suppliers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Work experience as a category manager, purchasing manager is required.
  • Relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • 2 - 10 years' of purchasing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Procurement Manager Assistant is considered advantageous.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, acute attention to detail, effective time management skills, and exceptional organizational capabilities are imperative. Proficiency in handling extensive numerical datasets is essential.
  • Languages: English, French, and Russian. Written and oral communication skills in Russian are mandatory.

  • Successful work experience in similar positions for at least 2 years
  • Capable of analytical thinking, decision-making, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Residency in Canada for a minimum of three years. Must possess valid work permits and authorization to work in Canada.

Successful candidates will receive comprehensive on-site company training.
