This is a wickedly cool job for the right person. Why? Because you will get extremely rare experience working on a technology that will take over the planet; Cloud Native Software Development.
We’re looking for a Cloud Native Software Developer with a storage specialization. (If you have the Cloud Native, but not the storage, we still want to talk to you).
Must have:
- Cloud native infrastructure stack experience with tools like terraform, DC OS, docker, k8s;
- strong background in multiple storage technologies: network file storage, network attached block storage, RDBMS like MySQL & distributed RDBMS solutions, NoSQL DBs like Cassandra, key-value stores and caches like Redis and memcache;
- deep experience in performance tuning, profiling and scaling of network storage solutions;
- excellent scripting and automation skills, implementing in Python, Go and similar languages;
- continuous build and continuous delivery stacks including artifact and container repositories;
- good networking and network security knowledge;
- experience with metrics and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELG stack);
- ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues;
- solid automation experience with configuration management tools;
- Linux kernel experience; and
- 2+ year experience with using a broad range of cloud native technologies and stacks (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Stack).
Nice to have:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
