JOB DESCRIPTION:
High Tech Genesis is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in fostering and maintaining trusted relationships with our customers, fulfilling customer orders, managing logistics, and maintaining supply chain inventory and records.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bilingualism (En/Fr)
- 3 years of experience in a supply chain role
- Ability to collaborate with multiple groups towards the completion of a project
- Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal), able to interact with all stakeholders and act as a professional representative of the corporation
- Eagerness to operate in a dynamic fast paced environment with an ability to drive change
- Familiarity with Surface-mount technology and PCBA production/testing
- Proficient in MS Office App, Office 365 and a willingness to learn and utilize new tools within the organization
- Hands-on experience with ERP / MRP / PLM software
- Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of financial aspects related to supply chain
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain management or a related subject.
Desired skills:
- Able to demonstrate experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
- APICS, SCMA CSCP or CPIM certification
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, effective communicator at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized, good attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking and following through on tasks to completion
