JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Position: Maintenance Lead
Store Location: Kanata
- Wages based on experience
- Morning shift (6:30am to 12pm)
- 30 hours per week
- Must have reliable transportation (no bus service until after 7am)

We’re looking for individuals who:
- Have knowledge of building maintenance best-practices
- Are prepared to work indoors and outdoors
- Can provide clear Criminal Background Checks and up-to date WHMIS training
- Are cooperative with COVID-19 protocols and testing
- Preference for Working at Heights training
- Firearms Safety Couse is a plus
We expect that you will:
- Have great communications skills and can take direction
- Can work with a team or independently as required
- Be flexible and receptive to changes in the workplace
- Be able to lift or move up to 50lbs
Duties:
- Ensure custodial equipment is in proper working order
- Ensure exits/fire doors are accessible and in good working order
- Take note of and address safety concerns
- Lawncare and landscaping tasks
- Power wash exterior of building, squeegee windows
- Maintain roof drains
- Maintain exits and walkways, keep free from snow and ice
- Other regular maintenance tasks at a large retail outlet
