(Evening After School Program and Sunday full-day Program)

Position Summary
The Integration Aide is a 1:1 worker who works directly with children/youth aged 5-15. The Integration Aide is responsible for providing support to children/youth with developmental disabilities in an afterschool program or day camp setting.
Integration Aides support children to meet individualized goals, thrive, and have an optimal experience.
The Integration Aide works under the Keshet Children and Youth Team Lead in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor.
The following is a list of responsibilities for the Integration Aide.
1. Provides a safe and fun environment for the child/youth.
2. Follows a specific individualized support plan plan to help best support the child/youth in a variety of environments.
3. Implements individual programs in an accurate manner to improve: social skills, communication and life skills (i.e. communicating wants/needs, social play, academics, personal hygiene, peer interactions etc).
5. Collects data based on programming developed by the Clinical Supervisor. Adjusts goals based on input/progress of camper.
7. Collaborates with other employees to ensure the child/youth’s needs and goals are being met.
8. Monitors child’s progress and maintain daily records of program goals. Communicate records to the Keshet Community Connections Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor. Highlights concerns and plays an active role in identifying strengths and weaknesses of the camper.
9. Communicates effectively with parents/caregivers/other professionals about progress and/or challenges. Participates in meetings as scheduled by the Keshet Community Connections Supervisor.
Candidate Qualifications
1. Diploma/Degree (or one in progress) in the field of psychology, social work, education, developmental services or related
2. One year experience with children/youth, preferably in a group setting.
3. Excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
4. Flexibility and Team Player
5. Microsoft Office/Access to Video-Conferencing software (i.e. zoom, teams).
