Human Resources Coordinator
Cord3 Innovation Inc. is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team!
Cord3 is a growing technology company dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, and forward‑thinking solutions for our clients. As we continue to expand, we are building HR infrastructure that will support our next stage of growth. We are looking for an HR Coordinator who is energized by building systems, improving processes, and using data to elevate employee experience.
Department: Human Resources.
Reports To: HR Manager.
Workplace Type: Hybrid (in-office days are Tues-Thurs).
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Our office is in North Kanata.
Employment Type: Full Time.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $70,000.

Key Responsibilities
HRIS Implementation & Optimization:
- Support the rollout, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the new HRIS system.
- Assist with data migration, testing, documentation, and user training.
- Develop workflows, templates, and reporting dashboards within the HRIS.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Build and maintain standardized recruitment processes, including job posting templates, interview guides, and candidate tracking workflows.
- This position includes using LinkedIn Recruiter Lite to identify, approach, and build relationships with qualified candidates through strategic headhunting.
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers.
- Create a structured onboarding program that ensures a consistent and engaging new‑hire experience.
HR Policies & Compliance:
- Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal standards.
- Serve as one of the company’s representatives on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and complete all required training to remain compliant with applicable legislation.
Payroll & Attendance Management:
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and validating employee data.
- Maintain attendance and time‑tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll processes.
Performance Management:
- Help design and implement performance management tools, cycles, and documentation.
- Coordinate performance, review timelines, and support managers in using the tools effectively.
HR Metrics, Reporting & Dashboards:
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards that track key metrics, such as turnover, recruitment funnel data, onboarding effectiveness, attendance trends, and performance outcomes.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
Office Management:
- Support office operations, including facilities coordination, supplies procurement, vendor management, and general administrative support.
- Coordinate office logistics related to onboarding, equipment, and workspace readiness.
- Support company events, meetings, and internal communications as required.
- Ensure a safe, professional, and efficient working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR coordination or generalist support roles (tech or startup experience is an asset).
- 1+ years of recruiting experience in the tech sector, gained through either a staffing agency or an internal recruiting team.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter Lite is considered an asset.
- Strong interest in HR technology, data analytics, and process design.
- Experience with HRIS systems (implementation experience is a strong advantage).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A natural communicator who excels at connecting with others and enjoys teaching, coaching, and helping people grow.
- High proficiency with Excel/Sheets, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Must hold or be eligible for a Canadian Security Clearance at the Secret level or above.
